Course Eligibility

Every auto insurance company has their own rules regarding insurance discounts, but even if you don’t qualify for a discount, you should still consider taking the New Jersey defensive driving class. All ages are eligible, so it doesn’t matter if you’re a new driver or and experienced driver – everyone can benefit.

If you’re interested in the points reduction program, you must meet certain requirements. You’re only eligible for New Jersey defensive driving classes every five years. Of course, this doesn’t mean that you can’t take the course – it just means that you’ll only receive the two points as a credit every five years.
