Number of New Jersey Red Light Tickets Issued
Nationally, there are over 200,000 injuries at red lights every
year. Freehold Township in New Jersey reported that over their 2,400
accidents on record annually, about 12% of them occur at intersections
after one driver or another runs a red light or stop sign. Because red
light accidents cause injuries or deaths 47% of the time, it is
important avoid running red lights.
