Dangers of Speeding
Speed limits are not created to annoy drivers in a hurry. They’re
expertly placed on the road according to safety research. Speeding is
very dangerous, as the tendency to lose control of your vehicle
increases greatly with high speeds. Most cars are not made to drive as
fast as people drive them, and as a result, you’re putting yourself and
others at risk.
Remember, not everyone is as good of a driver as you are. Although you
may feel comfortable driving faster than the posted speed limit, the
driver in front of your could slam on his/her brakes, lose control, or
change lanes quickly without signaling. Speeding doesn’t give you
enough time to react to bad drivers on the road.
